Go Live Prep Routine

Prepare your stream from a Stream Deck key: switch OBS to your Live scene, unmute your macOS mic input, and let Discord know you are getting ready. Requires a configured Stream Deck key, OBS with obs-cli configured, macOS microphone control permission, and a connected Discord account/channel. Start the stream in OBS separately.

Why use this template

The first minute of a stream is the worst time to be juggling settings. You're flipping the OBS scene, unmuting your mic, and trying to remember to ping Discord while viewers are already showing up. Put all three on one button and every stream opens the same clean way, with no dead air while you catch up.

Do I need to know how to code?
No. "Go Live Prep Routine" runs on Conductor Deck's visual canvas. Import it, then fill in each step's fields (a channel, a scene name, a message) right in the builder. No scripts to write.
Is it free?
Importing it is free on any plan. The Pipedream integrations it uses are Pro features, so you need a Pro or Max plan to run it.
What do I need to use this template?
A Conductor Deck account, a Stream Deck (or the in-app virtual deck), and the connected Conductor Deck plugin listed below. You connect Discord inside the builder when you import, with no separate install. Install and link the Conductor Deck plugin before importing, then keep Stream Deck Desktop and the plugin online when this workflow runs. Confirm each local action before import. Detected platform requirement: macOS. Make sure obs-cli is installed and configured first.
Can I change the steps?
Absolutely. The template is a starting point. Add, remove, reorder, or reconfigure any step on the canvas after importing, then sync it to any Stream Deck button.

When a new follower lands on Twitch, Conductor Deck triggers the Spotify Play / Pause action you choose after import. This toggles the current playback state: music that is playing pauses, while paused music resumes. Install a compatible Spotify Stream Deck plugin first, then choose its Play / Pause action in the builder.
