Why use this template
Announcing the same thing in two places means writing it, posting it, switching apps, and posting it again. This fires your Slack and Discord posts in parallel from one press. The announcement lands in both places at once, with no copy-pasting across tabs.
Questions, answered
- No. "Social Media Cross-Post" runs on Conductor Deck's visual canvas. Import it, then fill in each step's fields (a channel, a scene name, a message) right in the builder. No scripts to write.
- Importing it is free on any plan. The Pipedream integrations it uses are Pro features, so you need a Pro or Max plan to run it.
- A Conductor Deck account and a Stream Deck (or the in-app virtual deck). You connect Slack, Discord inside the builder when you import, with no separate install.
- Absolutely. The template is a starting point. Add, remove, reorder, or reconfigure any step on the canvas after importing, then sync it to any Stream Deck button.
