Assign workflows to Stream Deck
Put a workflow on a button, choose a title and icon, and verify the hardware state changes as expected.
Set the button content
Assign the workflow, choose a clear title, and set an icon that matches the action.
If the button changes state while the workflow runs, confirm each state still leaves the text readable.
- Use one line of text when possible.
- Avoid icons that depend on small details.
- Check the idle, running, and success states on the device itself.
Test the hardware path
Press the button, watch the workflow run, and confirm the physical button returns to the expected state when the run finishes.
If the device does not update, check the plugin connection before you change the workflow logic.
